Irisation is multiple mixed iridescent colors caused by sunlight being deffracted in clouds. The colors are often brilliant and mingled together, sometimes similar to mother-of-pearl. They sometime appear as bands parallel to the edge of the clouds.
A circumhorizontal arc or circumhorizon arc (CHA), also known as a fire rainbow[1], is a halo or an optical phenomenon similar in appearance to a horizontal rainbow, but in contrast caused by the refraction of light through the ice crystals in cirrus clouds.
Cloud iridescence is a common phenomenon in which a cloud shows vivid unusual colors or an entire spectrum at once.
